Concept:
I was so excited to put this carousel together. I've been wanting to figure out how to do them for a while now and this was the perfect chance. A carousel works by selecting multiple cropped images in panoramic collage and uploading them to instagram so they look seamless as you swipe. I chose to put together some highlights from my elopement for the post.

Design:
Images with lots of negative space make up most of the full size background images. This left room to be filled with smaller images with subjects that fill the frame. I edited the colors in a couple of the photos to make the entire collage flow. I chose the position of the crops to intrigue the viewer to want to continue to the next slide.

Photoshop:
First I set up a new guide layout to show me where the images would be cropped in Instagram. I pulled images into the design one by one and used the transform tool to size them. One of the photos was very bright and distracting, I placed a colored shape behind it and used the eyedropper tool to pick a color from the previous image. I then lowered the opacity of the image to blend it with the colored background and create a cohesive feeling to the other photos. Another photo was too blue for the collage. In camera raw I lowered the saturation on the blues and teals and warmed the image up. I used the text tool to create a fun little wedding date in one of the corners.
