Concept:
I designed a simple keepsake card that would serve as one side of a wedding invitation that someone might keep on their fridge.

Design:
I played with several different fonts and sizes before I chose one with soft and strong edges to balance the masculine and feminine parts of the image. I kept the couple in the center of the image because they are the focus of the card, the date is on top of them because it is the purpose. I chose for the gradient to be white to tie in the wedding theme and keep the card light.

Photoshop:
I placed two white radial gradients in the center of the image. I then placed the date text on top of the gradients and filled it with the same photo as behind it.
